Since January 1, 2018, the Association minière du Québec (AMQ) has been compiling the statistics provided by organizations in the mining sector. The statistics compiled by the Association paritaire pour la santé et la sécurité du travail du secteur minier (APSM) up to 2017 have been transferred to the new AMQ software. The Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) transmits to the APSM the statistics of accidents at work of its member organizations according to the maturity period of two years. The APSM has published a portrait of compensated injuries in the sector for 2017 in the section ”Publications and tools”.
